The Panasonic AMS solution is an integrated metrology system offering in-house equipment calibration capabilities for your factory in order to achieve Six Sigma quality initiatives. The AMS solution combines the AMS software with a View™ inspection machine and expert process knowledge into one package that allows the users to get up to speed very quickly measuring their processes. Our AMS software creates machine programs ideal for calibration. Calibration/certification programs are not created like normal production programs where speed is the largest concern. For calibration/certification uniformity of placement is paramount; all nozzles should place all rotations equally.
Traceability is crucial to inspection; knowing which nozzle placed which location is needed to process the data. Panasonic AMS software creates inspection machine programs that store the nozzle and rotation of the inspection so that the data can be sorted later.
Sorting the data by different factors, whether it is by nozzle, rotation, component, or location is crucial to determining the root cause of the problems. The AMS software provides that data analysis.
The final step in calibration is feedback. Being able to adjust the 200 plus offsets in the push of a button is key to having a good process. Panasonic AMS software updates the machine data with the results taken from the calibration data.
